Job summary

The role involves preparing and reviewing federal/state returns, assisting with tax planning, and maintaining high-quality client service. CPA eligibility or active pursuit is required, with hands-on mentorship and clear advancement opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting; CPA eligible or pursuing CPA.
• 3+ years of tax experience in public accounting.
• Experience preparing returns for S-Corps, Partnerships, C-Corps, and Individuals.
• Strong understanding of tax compliance and basic tax planning concepts.
• Experience with tax software such as UltraTax, CCH, or similar platforms.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review federal and state tax returns for various entity types.
• Assist with tax planning and identify opportunities to minimize client liabilities.
• Review client financials and make necessary adjustments prior to tax preparation.
• Communicate with clients to gather documentation and resolve tax-related questions.
• Conduct tax research and stay current on changing regulations.
• Support overall client engagements and contribute to high-quality service.

If You Have:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (CPA eligible or actively pursuing CPA)
• 3+ years of tax experience in public accounting
• Experience preparing returns for S-Corps, Partnerships, C-Corps, and Individuals
• Strong understanding of tax compliance and basic tax planning concepts
• Experience with tax software such as UltraTax, CCH, or similar platforms
• Solid communication skills and ability to work directly with clients
