Job summary

Hyundai Motor Group seeks an Assistant Manager of Tax to lead the preparation and review of tax forms, reports, and forecasts, coordinating with Accounting and Treasury to resolve tax issues. The role supervises tax accounting team members and supports audits.

Ideal candidates have a bachelor’s in tax or accounting, CPA preferred, and 4+ years in tax. Automotive industry experience is a plus, with strong MS Office skills and familiarity with Sage/OneSource/SAP.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Tax or Accounting
• CPA preferred
• 4 or more years of public accounting or corporate income tax experience preferred
• Experience in Automotive Industry preferred

Responsibilities

• Gather data, prepare, review, and file sales and use tax returns.
• Review payroll tax, property tax and other tax forms and returns.
• Assist with income tax provision as needed.
• Prepare and review government surveys.
• Assist with federal and local tax audits.
• Prepare and perform reviews, reconciliations, forecasts and analyses as assigned.
• Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills.
