Job summary

Honkamp, P.C. is seeking a Tax Assembler to support our busy tax season workload in St. Louis, MO.

You will assemble completed tax returns, scan work papers, and back up administrative projects as needed. Successful candidates will have a high school diploma or GED, basic knowledge of Microsoft 365, and the ability to work at a computer for extended periods in a shared office environment. This temporary role runs from January through mid-April, with a flexible schedule and opportunities to grow

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of Microsoft 365.
• Long periods of computer use required.
• Ability to work in a shared office environment.

Responsibilities

• Assemble completed tax returns and tax correspondence in line with firm standards.
• Scan source documents and tax workpapers for tax returns.
• Use firm software to move tax jobs through firm processes.
• Scan signed forms to the document management system (e.g., 8879s).
• Assist with inventory of assembly supplies.
• Pre-label assembly supplies as needed.
• Assist with miscellaneous administrative projects.
