A leading global investment management organization is seeking an experienced Tax & Wealth Planning Strategist to join its Boston-based team. This is a highly visible opportunity for a sophisticated wealth planning professional to serve as a subject matter expert on tax strategy, wealth transfer, liquidity events, and tax-aware investment solutions. Unlike a traditional financial advisor or wealth management position, this role does not involve building or bringing a book of business. Instead, this individual will partner with internal sales professionals, financial advisors, and HNW/UHNW clients to provide advanced planning expertise and help translate complex tax and investment concepts into practical strategies. The ideal candidate will bring approximately 8–10+ years of relevant experience, significant exposure to complex tax and wealth planning matters, and the ability to confidently engage with senior financial professionals and sophisticated clients.
This is an opportunity to bring deep tax and wealth planning expertise to a sophisticated investment management platform without the traditional pressure to prospect for or build a personal book of business. The Strategist will have the opportunity to influence advisor conversations, work with complex HNW/UHNW situations, contribute thought leadership, and help shape how tax-aware investment strategies are positioned and implemented.
The organization offers comprehensive benefits, including medical, dental and vision coverage, paid time off, a 401(k) plan, tuition reimbursement, student loan repayment support, wellness benefits, and volunteer programs.
Compensation: Expected base salary of $130,000–$183,000+, with flexibility for particularly strong or experienced candidates, plus a bonus
