Job summary

Uline, a leading North American distributor, seeks a Tax Analyst Team Lead to build and guide a team of analysts, overseeing reporting and tools that support tax operations. You will partner with leadership to translate tax data into actionable insights and drive performance across the company's growing network.

This on-site role at Corporate Headquarters will require strong SQL/Excel skills, the ability to mentor staff, and a focus on accuracy and process improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or related field.
• 2+ years of analyst experience; supervisory experience preferred.
• Proficient in SQL and Excel; Power BI knowledge a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of analysts responsible for tax data analysis and reporting.
• Coach and mentor team members with regular feedback.
• Review team reporting for quality, accuracy and data integrity.
• Monitor workflow to ensure projects meet deadlines.

Position Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of analysts, responsible for analyzing tax data to identify trends, improve reporting and deliver insights that drive informed business decisions.

• Coach and mentor team members through regular feedback, guidance and support.

• Review team reporting and analyses to ensure quality, accuracy and data integrity.

• Monitor workflow and team performance to keep projects on track and meet deadlines.

• Partner with department management to implement process improvements that enhance efficiency and reporting.

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or related field.

• 2+ years of analyst experience. Previous supervisory experience preferred.

• Proficient in SQL and Excel. Knowledge in Power BI a plus.

• Strong multi-tasking, interpersonal and communication skills.
