This role will play a key part in ensuring accurate tax filings, supporting audits, and identifying opportunities to improve processes and enhance tax-related insights.This position reflects the evolution of tax work from manual processing to a more systems-driven, analytical function, with an emphasis on continuous improvement and cross-functional collaboration. To support this, employees in this role are expected to be on-site four days a week, with the flexibility to work one day remotely. Core in‐office days are Tuesday–Thursday, with the fourth day determined by business needs.**Key Responsibilities*** Prepare and support state and local tax filings for designated business units, ensuring full compliance with regulatory requirements* Analyze and interpret tax laws and regulations to support tax reporting and compliance activities* Conduct tax research and summarize findings for team members and leadership* Contribute to process improvements and system optimization efforts within the tax function* Support tax audits and inquiries, including gathering documentation and coordinating responses* Analyze financial data to identify tax efficiencies and planning opportunities* Assist with tax forecasting activities* Maintain organized and accurate tax records, filings, and supporting documentation* Leverage tax systems and ERP tools to improve efficiency and reduce manual processes* Partner with internal teams (Accounting, Finance, etc.) to ensure accurate reporting and alignment* Generate routine and ad hoc tax reports and analyses* Perform other duties as assigned**Qualifications*** Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field required* Generally, 1-3 years of relevant tax, accounting, or finance experience* Working knowledge of federal, state, and local tax regulations with experience leveraging tax software, financial systems, and ERP platforms is a plus* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret financial data, identify trends/issues, and adapt to changing processes and priorities* High attention to detail with strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills, including ability to simplify complex tax concepts and handle confidential information**Business Unit:**GAI Tax**Benefits:**We offer competitive benefits packages for full-time and part-time employees\*.
