Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in tax preparation, accounting, finance, or bookkeeping
• Experience preparing complex individual and business returns with tax planning and audit support
• Strong verbal and written communication; ability to explain tax concepts in client-friendly language
• Must complete continuing education and meet IRS/state requirements
• Bachelor’s degree preferred; CPA/EA credentials highly regarded

Responsibilities

• Prepare complete, accurate tax returns for individuals and businesses
• Conduct in-depth client interviews to understand financial situations and tax implications
• Provide tax savings opportunities and advise on Block Advisors products/services
• Provide IRS support, tax notice assistance, and audit guidance
• Collaborate with team members to maintain a client-focused office environment
