H&R Block, Inc. is seeking a year-round Tax Advisor to prepare accurate returns for individuals and businesses and to provide proactive tax planning and guidance. You will interview clients, identify savings opportunities, and build lasting relationships using our training and technology platform.

Qualifications

5+ years of experience in tax preparation, accounting, finance, or bookkeeping
Experience preparing complex individual and business returns
Experience in client-facing advisory roles
Strong verbal and written communication, able to explain tax concepts clearly
Must complete continuing education and meet IRS/state requirements
High school diploma or equivalent

Responsibilities

Prepare complete, accurate tax returns for diverse and complex situations
Conduct in-depth client interviews to understand financials and tax implications
Build year-round client relationships with empathetic, consultative service
Provide IRS support, tax notice assistance, and audit guidance
Collaborate with team members and maintain a positive office environment
