Stanley 1913, based in Seattle, is seeking a Tax Accounting Manager to reduce exposure to fees, penalties, and inefficiencies through expert tax oversight across the full tax cycle. You will work with Avalara and internal teams to ensure accurate tax calculation, reporting, and remittance for US and Canadian jurisdictions.

The role demands deep US GAAP knowledge, CPA credentials, and 7+ years in tax accounting within consumer products/manufacturing, with strong Excel/ERP skills and

Competenze

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related field; CPA required.
• 7+ years of tax accounting experience in consumer products or manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and ability to apply it to tax and GL scenarios.
• Proficient in Excel and Word; experience with Oracle, Hyperion, ERP/tax platforms is a plus.

Mansioni

• Conduct tax risk analyses across the end-to-end tax cycle.
• Coordinate preparation and filing of PMI RNA tax returns with Avalara and others.
• Serve as SME on state and local Canadian filings and related questions.
• Monitor ERP and tax nexus exposure; maintain rate tables.
• Research and provide guidance on tax issues and regulatory changes.
• Respond to tax notices, audits, and inquiries.
• Review audit inquiries and disclosures with external advisors.
• Support exemption certificate reviews with Credit & Collections.
• Advise on tax config for new systems and products.
