AquantUs, LLC is seeking a Tax Accounting Manager for a $20+ billion multinational company. The role will lead monthly, quarterly, and annual income tax provision processes to ensure accurate reporting and ASC 740 compliance, while analyzing economic and tax impacts of business opportunities.

You will mentor analysts, partner with tax, accounting and business teams, and drive transformation within the tax organization, delivering value through waste elimination and innovation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, Taxation or JD.
• 5+ years’ experience in a corporate tax accounting (ASC740) role.
• Public accounting firm or large multinational corporation experience.
• Progressive career in corporate or state income taxation, tax accounting, financial reporting, or accounting related roles.
• Proficient understanding and application of ASC740 principles including income tax provisions, effective tax rates, deferred tax balances, valuation allowances.
• Demonstrated ability to manage large volumes of data from multiple systems and use advanced tools to perform analysis and develop a point of view.
• Experience training, supervising and developing tax staff and/or interns.
• Experience with Alteryx, Sigma, or other data analysis platforms.
• Experience with ONESOURCE Tax Provision software.

Responsabilités

• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual income tax provision processes per ASC 740.
• Own income tax workpapers and disclosures for the US GAAP financial statement audit.
• Communicate anticipated tax results to key stakeholders based on business operations and key drivers.
• Analyze economic and tax impacts of various business opportunities.
• Build relationships with tax, accounting and business teams to understand and optimize tax positions.
• Provide leadership and development of analysts and senior analysts in the tax accounting organization.
• Identify and drive waste elimination and transformation opportunities within the tax accounting organization.
• Drive innovation and transformation within the tax organization.
