Koch Industries, Inc. is seeking a Tax Accounting Manager to join our tax accounting team. The role emphasizes accurate US tax provisions, leadership of analysts, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to optimize tax positions.

Based in one of our offices (Wichita, KS; Atlanta, GA; or Plano, TX), you will drive improvements in reporting, disclosures, and stakeholder communication while staying at the forefront of tax accounting developments.

Formación

• Progressive career experience in corporate income taxation, tax accounting, financial reporting, or accounting related roles.
• Proficient understanding and application of ASC740 principles including income tax provisions, effective tax rates, deferred tax balances, etc.
• Demonstrated ability to manage large volumes of data from multiple systems and use advanced tools to perform analysis and develop a point of view.

Responsabilidades

• Support monthly, quarterly, and annual income tax provision processes to ensure accurate reporting and compliance with ASC 740.
• Own income tax workpapers and disclosures for the US GAAP financial statement audit.
• Communicate anticipated tax results to key stakeholders based on business operations and key drivers.
• Analyze economic and tax impacts of various business opportunities.
• Partner with tax, accounting and business teams to optimize tax positions.
• Provide leadership and development of analysts within the tax accounting organization.
• Identify and drive waste elimination and transformation opportunities within tax accounting.
