VWC, a local CPA firm, is seeking a full-time Staff Tax Accountant to join the Tax Department. Under supervision of the Tax Department Partner, you will prepare personal, trust, estate, and corporate tax returns, plus projections and payroll tax filings.

This role emphasizes accuracy, confidentiality, and proactive service. Occasional travel (1–2 times per year) is required, with VWC covering travel and lodging for remote employees.

Qualificações

• Associate’s degree in Accounting or 2+ years of accounting experience.
• Detail oriented with the ability to meet deadlines.
• Proficient in MS Office; strong communication and organization.
• Self-starter, organized and able to prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and client-service mindset.
• Ability to pass a background check.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare personal tax returns.
• Prepare trust, estate, and gift tax returns.
• Prepare corporate, partnership, and S-Corp returns.
• Prepare amended returns and income tax projections.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
• Maintain client confidentiality and communicate with team and clients.
• Assist with licenses, meetings, and ongoing industry updates.
• Support senior managers and colleagues as needed.
