Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
CPA or CPA eligible and/or Master's in taxation or accounting a plus.
2+ years of accounting or tax adjacent work experience including internships.
Experience at a large corporation with multistate presence or at a large public accounting firm a plus.

Responsibilities

Assist with complex federal and state income tax return preparation.
Participate in various aspects of tax compliance, such as tax calculations for fixed assets, stock compensation, and R&D credit, and managing inputs and consolidated return tie-outs in the tax compliance software.
Assist with the federal and state quarterly estimated payment, extension and provision processes.
Research tax technical issues and communicate the implications for TI tax compliance in a clear and concise manner.
Participate in various tax planning activities and assist with special projects.
Identify and lead process improvement initiatives that streamline and influence TI-level processes within the tax function.
Support efforts to defend US tax filings upon audit by the IRS.
