Base pay range: $75,000.00/yr - $100,000.00/yr

Responsibilities
- Tax Preparation: Assisting in the preparation of tax returns for individuals, businesses, or organizations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with applicable tax laws and regulations.
- Tax Planning: Providing tax planning and advisory services to clients, identifying tax-saving opportunities, and optimizing tax strategies to minimize tax liabilities.
- Tax Compliance: Ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations, including filing requirements, reporting obligations, and payment deadlines.
- Tax Research: Conducting tax research on complex tax issues, legislative changes, and industry trends, and providing recommendations and insights to clients and colleagues.
- Client Communication: Communicating with clients to gather relevant tax information, address tax-related inquiries, and provide guidance on tax matters.
- Audit Support: Assisting with tax audits by regulatory authorities, providing documentation, explanations, and support for audit inquiries and procedures.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in tax accounting
- Experience in public accounting or a specialized tax services firm.
- Experience with software such as QuickBooks and other tax accounting software
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong understanding of tax laws and regulations
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
