Job summary

Golden Gaming, LLC in Reno, NV is seeking a Bartender responsible for mixing and serving beverages according to recipes to ensure a high-quality guest experience in a fast-paced environment.

You will maintain bar cleanliness, stock supplies, handle cash and POS, follow established procedures, and comply with gaming regulations while delivering courteous service. Prior bartending experience and strong communication are required to succeed in this role.

Responsibilities

• Provide timely and courteous guest service consistent with the company's guest service culture.
• Mix and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages following established recipes and procedures.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the bar area, including bar tops, floors, and line equipment.
• Refill and stock garnishes, glassware, and bar supplies.
• Receive, issue, and keep accurate records of liquor and other supplies.
• Follow proper cash handling, comp, and POS (Info Genesis) procedures.
• Maintain sound and music levels as directed by management.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable gaming laws and company internal controls, policies and procedures, Title 31, and federal regulations, if they apply to the position.
• Provide outstanding guest service in a timely manner to both guests and fellow team members that meets the company's guest service culture standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• At least 21 years of age
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Ability to effectively communicate in English, both written and verbal
• Obtain and maintain all work cards as required by the company
• Verify right to work in the United States
• Work Cards Required based on property location or regional regulations

Physical Requirements

• Regularly push/pull up to 50lbs.
• Regularly lift and/or carry up to 50lbs. at floor, knee, waist, and chest levels
• Frequently squat, kneel, reach, bend, twist
• Occasionally sit and work at a desk or computer
• Frequently standing and walking
• Ability to communicate using in-person speech, radios, and telephone
• Ability to hear, understand, and distinguish speech and/or other sound in person
• Ability to distinguish between shades of color
• Ability to use tools or equipment requiring a high degree of dexterity
