Job summary

Crater Lake Spirits in Bend, Oregon is looking for a part-time Tasting Room Associate. You will welcome guests, provide product tastings, and support retail sales while educating visitors on the history, craftsmanship, and quality of Crater Lake Spirits. OLCC rules must be followed and 21+ eligibility is required.

The position is based at the Crater Lake Spirits Tasting Room with typical hours of 28 per week (Thursday through Monday) and includes tipping opportunities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; experience in bar/restaurant preferred.
• Experience in the alcohol industry is desired.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules and manuals; write reports.
• Basic math skills for cash handling, tabs, and pouring measurements.
• Strong communication with customers and team members.

Responsibilities

• Provide product tastings to public and industry guests
• Be familiar with each product, manufacturing process, and product category
• Must always follow OLCC rules and regulations
• Perform retail sales, including processing credit card transactions
