Job summary

Chapelton Vineyards in Washington, Texas is seeking an Assistant Tasting Room Manager to support daily tasting room operations and deliver warm, polished guest experiences. You will work closely with the Tasting Room Manager, hospitality team, and winery leadership to keep the tasting room prepared, staffed, and running smoothly.

Qualifications

• Prior hospitality or tasting room experience preferred.
• Interest in wine and guest experiences.
• Strong communication and team collaboration skills.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Open/close and manage day-to-day tasting room operations.
• Model excellent hospitality and wine service standards.
• Lead tastings and communicate Chapelton Vineyards' story.
• Monitor reservations, walk-in traffic, VIPs, and member visits.
• Assist with staff assignments and on-the-floor coaching.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and secure tasting room environment.
• Support inventory processes for bottles poured, sold and restocked.
• Ensure compliance with alcohol service and sanitation standards.
• Assist with on-site events and wine club experiences.
• Relay guest feedback and improvement opportunities to management.
