Job summary

Messina Hof Wine Cellars in Grapevine, TX is seeking a part-time guest center host to welcome visitors as family and friends, promote tours and tastings, and drive repeat sales.

You will educate guests on wine and food pairings, assist with Wine Club and VIP Club memberships, and operate the POS system to complete sales while keeping the tasting room clean and welcoming.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail or a closely related field.
• Experience in customer service.
• Active TABC and Food Handler certifications at all times.

Responsibilities

• Promote, sell, and conduct tours, tastings, parties and repeat sales at winery.
• Educate Messina Hof guests on wine, wine & food pairings and wine appreciation.
• Increase Wine Club and VIP Club memberships.
• Operate POS system for routine purchasing transactions, including operating cash register, accounting of daily sales, and processing returns and discounts.
• Communicate with guests, co-workers, and business associates in a courteous and professional manner.
• Care of the Tasting Room Area: maintain cleanliness and organization in all areas of the Tasting Room.
