Job description

Tasker Operations Manager (Russian & English)

New York, New York, United States

Taskrabbit is a marketplace platform that conveniently connects people with Taskers to handle everyday home to-do’s, such as furniture assembly, handyman work, moving help, and much more.

At Taskrabbit, we want to transform lives one task at a time. As a company we celebrate innovation, inclusion and hard work. Our culture is collaborative, pragmatic, and fast-paced. We’re looking for talented, entrepreneurially minded and data-driven people who also have a passion for helping people do what they love.Together with IKEA, we’re creating more opportunities for people to earn a consistent, meaningful income on their own terms by building lasting relationships with clients in communities around the world.

Taskrabbit is a hybrid company with employees distributed across the US and EU and a Built In — Best Places to Work (2022, 2023, 2024, 2025) continually ranked across multiple national and regional categories. Join us at Taskrabbit, where your work will be meaningful, your ideas valued, and your potential unleashed!

This role operates on a hybrid schedule requiring two days of in-office collaboration per week. The position must be based out of our New York City office.

About The Role

Taskrabbit connects busy people in need of help with trusted local Taskers who can lend a hand with everything from home repairs to errands, with the goal of being the number one home services platform in the countries we serve. A Tasker gets paid to do what they love, when and where they want — all while saving the day for someone in their city. The Tasker Operations team helps Taskers achieve their personal tasking goals using Taskrabbit. The Tasker Operations Manager plays a critical role in onboarding Taskers seamlessly, nurturing them, ensuring that they are fully utilized and retained, and building satisfaction with the platform. We’re proactive—helping Taskers before they realize they need support. These approaches, employed at the local level, result in higher quality, more retentive, and more satisfied Taskers. The work you do will support our overall managed marketplace strategy, helping to ensure that every job gets done so well that Taskers and clients come back again and again.

You will be responsible for a specific set of metropolitan areas, driving key metrics for the company as well as supply alignment in those metros, which result in increased invoices and revenue. You will be the face of Taskrabbit to Taskers in your market and seen as a regional expert across the organization.

What You’ll Do
  • Drive invoices and revenue by analyzing supply data and taking targeted action to improve supply health, booking conversion, and Tasker quality across the Tasker lifecycle (activation, billing, retention, churn) — advising or acting directly to acquire quality Taskers when needed.
  • Act as a regional subject-matter expert, monitoring market performance and tailoring programs and supply tactics to local dynamics.
  • Coach Taskers in your Book of Business (primarily in group settings, in-person and virtual) and grow participation in scaled lifecycle programs, choosing the right channels to reach them.
  • Master the Tasker lifecycle, using data-driven insights and strong data fluency to identify gaps, design and lead experiments, and communicate performance insights and business impact to teams and leadership.
  • Be a product expert — know what's live, explain it to Taskers, and validate/submit bug reports based on Tasker feedback.
  • Lead community engagement (office hours, profile workshops, socials) and work cross-functionally with Product, Support, Partnerships, Marketing, Legal, and Commercial Ops to advocate for Tasker solutions that drive invoices and revenue.
  • Share learnings, pitfalls, and wins with the global Tasker Operations team; travel up to 10% for metro events.
About You
  • Full professional fluency in English and Russian.
  • Based in New York City or an easily commutable distance, with availability to travel to other regions as required.
  • 3+ years in marketplace operations, customer success, community management, or comparable roles; Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • A proficient user of data to derive actionable insights and make decisions; proficient with BI, Google Workspace, and customer success tools. (SQL & Sigma experience preferred)
  • A highly effective, confident communicator who can engage audiences from 1 to 100.
  • A low-ego, opportunistic self-starter who's comfortable problem-solving on the fly in a fast-paced, globally distributed team, and knows when to ask for help.
  • An enthusiastic people person with strong cross-functional relationship-building skills, excellent organization and attention to detail, and a genuine passion and playfulness for the work.

This range is representative of base pay only, and does not include any other total cash compensation amounts, such as company bonus or benefits.
