Job summary

Enterprise Solutions and Management (ESM) seeks a Task Order Project Manager to oversee ASSIST task orders in a federal environment. You will collaborate with the Government Contracting Officer, task order managers, and customer agency representatives to ensure on-time delivery and alignment with contract requirements.

You will guide Agile/Scrum processes, manage risks, and coordinate with multiple teams and subcontractors to achieve successful task order execution.

Qualifications

• BA/BS or four years of related experience
• Five years of relevant experience
• Five years of leadership experience with progressively increased responsibility in public and/or private sector.
• PMP or equivalent
• DoD Approved 8140 Baseline Certification required IT PM Role

Responsibilities

• Serve as the project manager for ASSIST application task orders and coordinate with KO, task order managers, government personnel and customer representatives.
• Assist the Program Manager to ensure technical solutions and schedules are implemented timely.
• Manage the JIRA instance as the development team’s Scrum Master and facilitate Agile activities.

Enterprise Solutions and Management (ESM) is a rapidly growing government contractor that provides strategic IT services that meet mission needs for Defense and Federal customers. We are hiring a Task Order Project Manager to support an enterprise-level program within a federal environment.

Job Description and Responsibilities

Serves as the project manager for ASSIST application task order (or a group of task orders affecting the same system) and shall assist the Program Manager in working with the Government Contracting Officer (KO), the task order-level Task Order Managers, Government management personnel and customer agency representatives. This Task Order Project Manager will provide consolidated inputs for all work being conducted on this contract to include any sub-vendors. Under the guidance of the Program Manager, responsible for the overall management of the specific task order(s) and ensuring that the technical solutions and schedules in the task order are implemented in a timely manner. Work includes managing the JIRA Instance as the development team's scrum master.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSA)

• Ability to manage task orders, ensuring technical deliverables, project schedules, and milestones are completed on time.
• Ability to coordinate with program managers, government contracting officers, task order managers, government personnel, and customer agency representatives.
• Ability to consolidate project status updates, deliverables, and performance reports across teams and subcontractors.
• Knowledge of project management practices to monitor progress, manage risks, resolve issues, and ensure alignment with contract requirements.
• Ability to manage JIRA workflows and facilitate Agile/Scrum activities, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and backlog management.
• Ability to coordinate development teams and stakeholders to ensure timely implementation of technical solutions and successful task order execution.

Minimum Training, Education, and Certifications

• BA or BS or four (4) years of related experience
• Five (5) years of relevant experience
• Five (5) years of leadership experience with progressively increased responsibility in public and/or private sector.
• PMP or equivalent

• Required to stand, walk and sit; communicate verbally both in person and by telephone; use hands to finger, handle or feel objects or controls; reach with hands and arms. Regularly required to stoop, kneel, bend, crouch and lift up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, depth perception, color vision and the ability to adjust focus.
• Physical demands associated with this position include extensive walking (including stairs) throughout offices and between buildings. May require use of public transportation, personal or Government vehicle to drive to local and/or remote office locations.
