Job summary

Coastal Horizons in Burlington, NC is hiring a TASC Peer Support Specialist to support justice-involved individuals through the TASC Program. This full-time role involves working with care managers and other partners to facilitate access to essential services, including employment and housing.

The ideal candidate will have lived experience with mental health and/or substance use disorders, a diploma or higher, and certification as a Peer Support Specialist. Benefits include a competitive salary, comprehensive insurance, and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of wellness and recovery-based concepts.
• Lived experiences with mental health/substance use disorders.
• At least one year of recovery.

Responsibilities

• Promote consumer engagement in TASC and related services.
• Support therapy and engagement with clinicians.
• Assist clients with transportation to primary care services.
• Complete tracking and documentation of services provided.
• Collaborate for continuity of care with various stakeholders.
