Job summary

Premier Warehousing Services, Inc. in Rainier, OR is seeking a Tarper to cover and secure loaded flatbed trailers with tarps and required straps. The role involves protecting loads from weather and dirt, following DOT guidelines, and lifting up to 50 lbs as needed.

Work is permanent with a Mon - Fri schedule; pay is $18.00/hour day shift or $18.50/hour night shift. Benefits commence after 90 days, PPE is provided, and overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift and move up to 50 lbs
• Ability to work outdoors in varying temperatures
• Team player with ability to work independently

Responsibilities

• Cover loaded 45-53 ft flatbed trailers with tarps and secure load per DOT standards.
• Secure tarps with bungee cords and 4-inch straps.
• Utilize PPE and follow safety protocols; wear approved gear at all times.
• Operate in indoor/outdoor environments with possible overtime.
