Job summary

Premier Warehousing Services, Inc. in Savannah, GA is seeking a Tarper to cover loaded 45-53 ft flatbed trailers, tarp and secure loads per customer, company and DOT standards. This physical role may be indoors or outdoors and in all weather conditions, with emphasis on safety.

The position runs Monday through Friday, starting at 7:30 am, with overtime potential. Starting pay is $20.00 per hour, weekly pay Fridays, and benefits after 90 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Cover loaded flatbed trailers with tarps and secure with bungee cords and straps per standards.
• Maintain clean and orderly work areas and yard.
• Collaborate with team and follow safety policies at all times.

POSITION: Tarper

Job Duties Include: (but not limited to)

• Involves covering loaded 45-53 ft flatbed trailers with tarps and securing the load and tarps with bungee cords and 4-inch straps per customer, company and DOT standards.
• Physical job that may require working indoors and outdoors and in all types of weather.
• Observes all safety policies and wears the required Personal Protective Equipment at all times
• Keeps work areas and truck lots clean and orderly
• Works well with others

Work Schedule: Monday through Friday, starting at 7:30 am, and ends when the workload is complete. Weekend work and overtime may be required, if needed.

Compensation:

• Starting Pay: $20.00/hr
• Benefits Offered after 90 Days of employment
• Weekly Pay: Every Friday
