Dexian is seeking a Tariff Accountant to manage end-to-end tariff processes, reporting to the Logistics Operations Manager and collaborating with Corporate Accounting and Sales. The role involves journal entries, reconciliations, and data analysis to guide financial decisions.

You will work with SAP-based tariff transactions, aiming to improve processes, controls, and reporting accuracy in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 3-5 years of progressive accounting responsibilities within a multi-divisional manufacturing or corporate environment.
• Knowledge of tariff processes, shipment tracking, broker reporting, and payment reconciliation.
• Familiarity with IFRS and international accounting standards.
• CPA license preferred; ability to exercise independent judgment in accordance with GAAP/IFRS.

Responsabilités

• Assist in monthly closing and financial reporting by preparing tariff-related journal entries and adjustments.
• Prepare internal analyses on shipment activity, tariff exposures, payments, and variances for management.
• Conduct 3-way match reconciliations between tariff payments, internal reports, and brokers' reports; resolve discrepancies.
• Utilize SAP to track tariff transactions and investigate data variances.
• Perform internal control reviews and ensure reconciliation documentation meets compliance standards.
