Job Description:

We are looking for Targeting Officers II and III to join our intelligence program supporting a key government customer in Northern Virginia. These individuals must have customer experience and understand how to research, write, and analyze data using the client's proprietary targeting tools and databases. Familiarity with customer writing styles and government classified databases, including specific targeting tools, sources, and methods, is essential. Strong briefing and writing skills, along with the ability to work independently or in a team, are necessary.

This requisition represents multiple openings. The position level depends on applicant-specific qualifications and experience. Candidates will be evaluated and placed in a level from 1 to 5 based on assessments and customer feedback.

Targeting Officer/Analyst Level 2 Capabilities:

• Identify, analyze, and disrupt international organizations and threat networks.
• Create and process all-source intelligence, conducting research, analysis, and reporting across disciplines (HUMINT, SIGINT, technical data).
• Develop expertise in the customer's functional missions, including transnational and geographic areas of interest.
• Focus and expand leads to gather additional information.
• Utilize customer collection platforms to identify and address intelligence gaps.
• Coordinate with multiple mission partners in all-source collection and analysis.
• Analyze large data sets and provide timely guidance under pressure.
• Conduct complex worldwide operations against high-priority threats.
• Possess strong writing skills in customer style.

Targeting Officer/Analyst Level 3 Capabilities:

• All capabilities of Level 2, plus:
• Develop and maintain expertise in functional missions.
• Demonstrate excellent writing skills.

Qualifications:

Level II:

• 3-7 years of relevant experience and a bachelor's degree or 5+ years of related work experience in lieu of a degree.
• Ability to deliver clear, concise briefings.

Level III:

• 7-12 years of relevant experience and a bachelor's degree or 5+ years of related work experience in lieu of a degree.
• Customer-relevant cable-writing and tool/database experience.
• Experience with DoD, USG, and USMIL in similar scope work.

Desired Qualifications:

• Experience in Intelligence Operations, Analysis, or Support to Field Operations.
• Experience identifying targeting leads via all-source databases.
• Experience using customer databases for field traffic monitoring and communication.
• Formal training or certification as a Target Officer.
• Overseas experience supporting collection operations.
• Foreign language skills.
• Overseas tours or TDY experience.

Position requires active Security Clearance with Polygraph.
