Job Description:

We are looking for Technical Targeting Officers II and III to join our intelligence program supporting a key government customer in Northern Virginia. These individuals must have customer experience and understand how to research, write, and analyze data using the client's proprietary targeting tools and databases. The ideal candidate must be familiar with customer writing styles and government classified databases, including specific targeting tools, sources, and methods. Vital briefing and writing skills and the ability to work well with a team or individually with minimal supervision are necessary.

This requisition represents multiple openings—The position level is contingent on applicant-specific qualifications and experience. After multiple assessments, applicants will be evaluated and placed in a level from 1 to 5 based on their experience and customer feedback.

As a Technical Targeting Officer (Level 2), the individual shall possess the following capabilities:

  • Preparing network development and target packages and assessments of current events based on the sophisticated collection, research, and analysis of classified/unclassified and open-source information.
  • Conducting multi-source intelligence research and creating analytic packages.
  • Utilizing SIGINT tools, network development tools, and open-source research to develop targeting plans and products that support defined collection priorities and identify effective measures.

As a Technical Targeting Officer (Level 3), the individual shall possess the following capabilities:

  • Preparing network development and target packages and assessments of current events based on the sophisticated collection, research, and analysis of classified/unclassified and open-source information.
  • Conducting multi-source intelligence research and creating analytic packages.
  • Utilizing SIGINT tools, network development tools, and open-source research to develop targeting plans and products that support defined collection priorities and identify effective measures.

Required Qualifications Based on LCAT Level:

  • Level II (2)
    • 3-7 years of Tradecraft-Relevant work experience and a bachelor’s degree or have five (5) additional years of Program-related work experience in lieu of a college degree!
    • Ability to identify and assess the right entities, vulnerabilities, and technology trends to enable new collection operations.
    • Ability to confidently deliver clear and concise briefings.
    • Strong analytic, research, and investigative skills combined with ops sense, personal initiative, and some technical expertise.
  • Level III (3)
    • 7-12 years of Tradecraft-Relevant work experience and a bachelor’s degree or have five (5) additional years of Program-related work experience in lieu of a college degree!
    • Ability to identify and assess the right entities, vulnerabilities, and technology trends to enable new collection operations.
    • Ability to confidently deliver clear and concise briefings.
    • Strong analytic, research, and investigative skills combined with ops sense, personal initiative, and some technical expertise.
    • Customer-relevant cable-writing and tools/database experience.
    • Demonstrated experience with the IC, USG, USMIL performing work similar in scope to the program.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience in Intelligence Operations / Analysis / Support to Field Operations
  • Experience identifying targeting leads through the exploitation of all-source databases and specialized tools.
  • Experience using customer databases to monitor field traffic and communicate with field offices.
  • Formal training or certification as a Technical Targeter
  • Overseas experience supporting collection operations and information sharing.

Position requires active Security Clearance with appropriate Polygraph.
