Leidos in Reston, Virginia is seeking Targeting Officers to support intelligence operations requiring TS/SCI clearance with polygraph. The role includes a weekly rotating 24/7 shift schedule, including weekends and holidays.
Targeting Officers guide and monitor collection operations and integrate the resulting insights into a cohesive intelligence narrative. They must communicate this narrative clearly in written and oral briefings and identify information gaps to address them.
Targeting Officer:
Leidos has multiple Targeting Officer positions in Northern Virginia. Candidates must have or be able to attain a TS/SCI clearance with polygraph examination. Willing and able to work a weekly rotating 24/7 shift schedule, to include weekends and holidays.
Targeting Officers are responsible for guiding and monitoring the execution of collection operations and integrating that collection into a cohesive intelligence narrative. That narrative, incorporating highly complex and specialized multi-INT information, must be communicated regularly to a wide audience of stakeholders, in written form and verbally in both formal and ad-hoc briefings. Throughout this process, Targeting Officers must be able to identify gaps in information and take proactive steps to address those gaps.
Key skills for success include the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, often under high stress. Targeting Officers must be able to think critically and communicate highly complex information accurately, clearly, and in the proper context of a larger effort. Candidates should be comfortable and familiar with drafting and disseminating written RFIs. The ability to confidently and clearly deliver concise briefings is a key skill for Targeting Officers.
Minimum Requirements/Experience: Excellent verbal and written communication. Ability to multitask. Ability to work in high stress environments. Experience with targeting tools, databases, all source targeting methodologies, and different intel sources. Able to manage taskings and maintain information flow across multiple organizations. Individuals must posses a valid drivers license with real ID.
Education: Bachelor’s degree and at least 4 to 8 years of full-time professional experience. Candidates with a Master’s degree are highly desirable with 2 to 6 years experience.

Pay Range $73,450.00 - $132,775.00
