Leidos is seeking a Targeting Officer for its operations in Virginia, requiring candidates to hold or be able to obtain TS/SCI clearance. Responsibilities include guiding collection operations and creating comprehensive intelligence narratives for stakeholders.
The ideal candidate should possess strong communication skills, multitasking abilities, and experience with targeting methodologies. A Bachelor's degree is required, along with relevant professional experience.
Leidos has multiple Targeting Officer positions in Northern Virginia. Candidates must have or be able to attain a TS/SCI clearance with polygraph examination. Willing and able to work a weekly rotating 24/7 shift schedule, to include weekends and holidays.
Targeting Officers are responsible for guiding and monitoring the execution of collection operations and integrating that collection into a cohesive intelligence narrative. That narrative, incorporating highly complex and specialized multi-INT information, must be communicated regularly to a wide audience of stakeholders, in written form and verbally in both formal and ad-hoc briefings. Throughout this process, Targeting Officers must be able to identify gaps in information and take proactive steps to address those gaps.
Education: Bachelor’s degree and at least 2 to 4 years of full-time professional experience, or a Master’s degree with less than 2 years of prior relevant experience.
