Job summary

A1 Garage is seeking a seasoned Talent Scout to build a confidential pipeline of garage door technicians and related trades nationwide. The role emphasizes discreet outreach, relationship-building, and closing candidates to join the team.

You will leverage provided candidate lists, expand networks at trade associations and events, and manage a clean ATS pipeline to support hiring targets across regions. A1 Garage values integrity, persistence, and professional communication.

Qualifications

• Proven recruiting, sourcing, talent scouting or executive recruiting experience required.
• Experience in trades, home services, HVAC/plumbing/electrical, or automotive recruiting preferred.
• Agency recruitment background is required.
• Comfort with high-volume cold outreach and rejection; persistent and self-motivated.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills with blue-collar tradespeople.

Responsibilities

• Targeted competitor sourcing of technicians currently employed at a provided list of target companies and competitors.
• Cultivate candidate lists and convert leads into active candidates.
• Outreach via phone, text, email, and social platforms to build relationships.
• Position the company's value against competitors and handle objections.
• Screen candidates for relevant experience, driving record eligibility, and cultural fit.
• Maintain an organized pipeline through Ashby with notes and next steps; weekly reporting.
• Coordinate interviews, offers, and onboarding handoffs to operations.
• Maintain confidentiality and comply with non-solicitation/non-compete guidelines.
