Job summary

Crossover seeks dedicated educators to guide K-3 students through app-based literacy learning on-site across multiple campuses in the United States. You will identify gaps, deliver targeted 15-minute lessons, and observe progress as gaps close, while avoiding lengthy nightly lesson planning.

You will be with your group daily, from launch to closing, using diagnostics to tailor instruction and report weekly progress to families.

Qualifications

• Direct experience with children ages 4-9 in teaching, coaching, tutoring, camps, youth programs, or related settings.
• Completed structured-literacy training LETRS, IMSE, Orton-Gillingham, Wilson, Fundations, UFLI, CERI, or similar; or a master’s in reading/literacy.
• Bachelor’s degree required; teaching certificate not required.

Responsibilities

• Guide students through app-based core learning, identify gaps, and drive forward progress.
• Conduct short, structured-literacy sessions with 2–4 students and deliver targeted sequences.
• Maintain momentum with morning launches, life-skills workshops, and check-chart activities.
• Motivate students toward weekly app goals using currency, leaderboards, and gamification.
• Stay with students through lunch, recess, and closing, addressing frustration with tailored plans.
