BTS Software Solutions is seeking a Target Digital Network Analyst (TDNA) to support operations in Annapolis Junction, MD.

The Target Digital Network Analyst conducts advanced analysis of collection and open‑source data to ensure target continuity, profile targets and their activities, and develop techniques to gain additional target information. The analyst applies principles and methods for exploiting foreign communications and communication systems to identify, collect, analyze, process, and disseminate intelligence in accordance with established requirements and priorities. The role involves analyzing DNI data for reportable intelligence, building target profiles, maintaining appropriate databases for targeting, tasking, and analysis, performing sustained target analysis and enhancement using DNI and DNR analytic techniques, identifying new access development opportunities, conducting research using open‑source and classified sources, and evaluating intelligence to tailor or enable new collection to close gaps.

Primary Location: Annapolis Junction, MD

Secondary Locations: San Antonio, TX; Augusta, GA; Oahu, HI; Utah; Various Locations

Clearance Requirement: TS/SCI with Poly

Minimum Requirements

• At least 2 of the required years of experience must have been within the last 5 years
• Must meet the additional qualification for a skill level 1 of at least one of the following categories: NEA, SGA, or TAR during their overall 12 years of experience
• Perform sustained target analysis and enhancement through the use of DNI and DNR analytic techniques
• Prior demonstrated experience in the use of software applications and databases associated with network analysis and target development
• Runs complex queries using a variety of different tools and provides guidance to others on how to run better queries or use different tools or task selectors
• Expert level understanding of internet protocols, digital telecommunications technologies, and internet routing and the merging of packet and circuit switched networks
• Performs DNR development to identify other methods of target communications, and works with language analysts to analyze the importance of selectors and tie them to targets of interest
• Understands computer network infrastructure to enable the discovery of new avenues of target development
• Works with other SIGDEV elements to introduce new tools or avenues of pursuit in an effort to find new collection opportunities
• Conducts advanced analysis of collection and open‑source data to ensure target continuity, profile targets and their activities, and develop techniques to gain more target information

Education and Experience

Entry level positions require a high school diploma or GED plus 6 years of relevant experience, or an Associate's degree plus 4 years of relevant experience, or a Bachelor's degree and 2 years of relevant experience. Higher positions require up to and including a high school diploma or GED plus 15 years of relevant experience, an Associate's degree plus 13 years of relevant experience, a Bachelor's degree and 11 years of relevant experience, or a Master’s degree and 9 years of relevant experience.

Pay Range

$85,000–$260,000. The BTS pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
