Job summary

Carcoustics in Troy, MI is seeking a Calculation & Target Costing Engineer to develop competitive product calculations and improve related processes. You will prepare offer and supplement calculations within a project team and coordinate technical documents with engineering departments.

You will work closely with serial plants during the calculation phase and support Sales and CPS for customer negotiations and new projects, including SAP masterdata creation and target costing collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Business Engineering or similar education.
• 1–2 years of professional experience in the automotive industry.
• Work experience in an international environment and with international project teams.
• Independent and advanced skills in SAP.

Responsibilities

• Preparation of offer calculations and supplement calculations within a project team
• Coordination of all necessary technical documents within engineering departments
• Work close together with serial plants during calculation phase
• Support of Sales and CPS department for customer negotiations, new projects or change negotiations, Collaboration during acquisition phase of new projects
• Responsible for support of other departments during creation of SAP masterdata
• Responsible for Target Costing
