Job summary
A leading contractor in government services is seeking an Engineering Technician to support the National Ignition Facility in Livermore, CA. The role involves installing and maintaining complex hardware, requiring skills in mechanical systems, teamwork, and attention to safety protocols. Candidates must have a minimum A.A. in Mechanical or Electrical Technologies or equivalent experience, along with effective communication and problem-solving abilities. This position necessitates obtaining a Q-Level Security Clearance and may involve working in challenging environments, including the use of respirators. Qualifications
Must be able to use a respirator, work in confined spaces and clean rooms.
Experience with optical, electrical, and mechanical systems.

Responsibilities

Install and remove diagnostic hardware for experiments.
