Job summary

Vallarta Supermarkets Duarte is seeking a 3rd Assistant Taquería Manager to oversee the Taquería and La Isla departments, ensuring fresh, authentic food and outstanding customer service. You will support the Taquería Manager, supervise staff, and help manage inventory and merchandising in a fast-paced setting.

Requirements include English proficiency, willingness to transfer stores within a reasonable commute, and valid U.S. work authorization.

Qualifications

• Must pass food safety certification every 3 years.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.
• Must be able to transfer to other store locations within a reasonable commute.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise Taquería staff; model excellent service.
• Assist Taquería Manager and plan department activities.
• Ensure food quality, safety, and sanitation standards.
• Manage inventory, ordering, and record-keeping.
• Maintain attractive product merchandising and signage.
• Provide training and coaching to team members.
