Vallarta Supermarkets is seeking a Taquería Manager for our Duarte location. The role directs operations, quality, and performance of the Taquería, ensuring authentic food preparation, outstanding service, and compliance with freshness and safety standards.

You will drive sales, control expenses, lead employee development, and create a customer-focused environment in a fast-paced, festive setting.

Qualifications

• Strong leadership and communication abilities.
• Ability to train and develop staff in a fast-paced setting.
• Experience managing a restaurant or culinary operations preferred.
• Knowledge of food preparation equipment and safety standards.
• Proficient math and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in English (reading/writing/speaking).
• Authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise Taquería staff; delegate tasks and enforce policies.
• Deliver exceptional customer service; greet customers and maintain a welcoming Taquería.
• Coach and evaluate employees; recognize performance and promote when appropriate.
• Plan schedules, manage inventory, review invoices, and keep accurate sales records.
• Ensure authentic Taquería food quality; maintain recipes and freshness.
• Maintain appealing displays and follow signage guidelines.
