The role requires strong leadership, culinary knowledge, and the ability to train a team in a fast-paced retail environment. English proficiency and legal work authorization are required.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of authentic Taquería foods and preparation methods.
• Strong leadership and communication skills in a fast-paced setting.
• Experience managing restaurant or culinary operations.
• Ability to train and develop staff in a busy environment.
• Familiarity with taquería equipment and food prep tools.
• Must maintain food safety certification every 3 years.
• Strong math and problem-solving abilities.
• Must speak, read, write, and understand English.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise department staff; enforce policies and service standards.
• Model exceptional customer service and maintain a welcoming Taquería.
• Train and evaluate employees; identify promotion-ready performers.
• Plan schedules, manage inventory, review invoices, and record sales.
• Ensure freshness and consistency per Vallarta recipes and standards.
• Maintain displays, rotate products, and follow signage guidelines.
• Enforce Safety Program and health regulations; address risks immediately.
• Maintain sanitary food prep, storage, and sales areas.
• Conduct periodic inventory, monitor shrink, and audit pricing.
• Perform additional tasks to support department and store success.
