Job summary

Southern Tier Brewing Company in Buffalo is seeking a Server Assistant to provide excellent table service in the taproom. Your role includes maintaining table cleanliness, delivering food and beverages, and being a brand ambassador. Candidates should be at least 18 years old with prior experience preferred. Strong communication and multitasking skills are essential. The position offers a starting pay of $10.70 per hour and the opportunity to work in a dynamic, team-oriented environment.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Previous experience as a server assistant, utility, or food runner preferred.
• Must maintain a positive attitude while working with a sense of urgency.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Prolonged periods of standing and walking.
• Must be able to lift, balance, and carry trays of food weighing up to 25 pounds.
• Must be able to lift, move, and carry kegs weighing up to 60 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean taproom by clearing empty glasses, plates, and silverware.
• Visually inspect all food leaving expo, ensuring proper plating and presentation.
• Deliver food, beverages, condiments to guests.
• Maintain appropriate levels of inventory/product for the bar.
• Assist with cleaning the dining area and restocking server stations.
