Job summary

Lupulin Brewing Co. seeks a taproom team member in Big Lake, MN to maintain a high‑quality taproom environment. You will operate the POS, describe beers, serve and pour, verify IDs, and keep surfaces clean throughout shifts.

Ideal candidates are craft beer enthusiasts with service experience, a willingness to learn taproom tech, and strong communication for a welcoming patron experience. Flexible schedule with evenings/ weekends required.

Qualifications

• Must be 21+ years old.
• Prior bartending/service experience preferred.
• Cicerone Beer Server certification preferred; if not certified, certification expected within 60 days of hire.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills; positive attitude and ability to work with a diverse set of people.
• Willingness to learn the mechanical workings of taproom equipment to address problems quickly and efficiently.
• Expect 10–15+ taproom hours per month; Weekday evenings and weekends required.

Responsibilities

• Operate the POS system and describe/recommend beers to patrons.
• Serve beer (counter service), pour and present beer; verify age and recognize intoxication.
• Maintain cleanliness; bus tables; wash glassware; set tables for shifts and events.
• Move kegs with a dolly and assist in opening/closing taproom duties.
• Engage with patrons, educating them about Lupulin Brewing Company beer and craft beer in general.
• Represent Lupulin at events as a brand ambassador.
