Job summary

Sierra Nevada Brewing Co. is seeking an Assistant Manager to lead front-of-house operations, coach a diverse team, and manage labor and revenue targets in a fast-paced hospitality setting.

You will report to upper management and drive service quality, guest satisfaction, and compliance with health and safety standards, while fostering a vibrant, high-energy dining environment at our Chico location.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or associate degree in hospitality preferred.
• Minimum 3 years in food & beverage, 1 year supervisory experience.
• Proven leadership to supervise diverse FOH teams in fast-paced settings.
• Strong communication, guest service, and OPS knowledge.
• Proficient with POS systems and basic MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Direct FOH operations, ensuring service quality and guest satisfaction.
• Lead, mentor, and evaluate bartenders, hosts, servers, and staff.
• Conduct reviews, coaching, and development goals for reports.
• Manage labor costs, inventory, and POS procedures to meet targets.
• Resolve guest issues professionally and improve service quality.
• Lead daily pre-shift meetings, training sessions, and updates.
• Collaborate with BOH to align FOH and kitchen operations.
• Ensure health, safety, and responsible alcohol service compliance.
