Greer Stop Nut in Nashville, TN is seeking an experienced Machine Operator to operate tapping/threading equipment used in our aerospace-grade fastener production.

You will set up machines, inspect parts with calipers and gauges, handle oily parts, lift up to 35 pounds, and document productivity. This is a full-time day shift with occasional overtime and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Prior experience operating machines in a manufacturing environment.
• High School Diploma or GED or higher.
• Must be comfortable working with oily parts throughout the day.

Responsibilities

• Operate tapping/threading equipment and set up related machines.
• Inspect finished pieces using calipers and gauges.
• Remove part waste and oil; document productivity on paper and in computer.
