Job summary

Greer Stop Nut in Nashville, TN is seeking an experienced Machine Operator to run tapping and threading equipment integral to producing internally threaded lock nuts for aerospace and military applications. This full-time day shift runs Monday through Friday from 5:00 AM to 1:30 PM, with overtime available occasionally.

You will set up machines, perform quality checks, document productivity, and handle oily parts with proper safety practices.

Qualifications

• Some prior experience operating machines in a manufacturing environment.
• High School Diploma/GED or higher.

Responsibilities

• Operate tapping/threading equipment used in the manufacturing process.
• Inspect finished pieces with calipers, gauges, and other measuring devices.
• Document productivity records on paper and in computer.
• Move parts on pallet jacks and lift up to 35 pounds.
• Work with oily parts and maintain a clean, safe workspace.
