Ridge Corporation is seeking a Tape Operator for the 2nd shift in Frazeysburg, OH. The role requires operating manufacturing equipment, reading work instructions, and maintaining quality and safety standards.

The position offers full-time, hourly pay with a 10% shift differential and opportunities for quarterly wage increases. The ideal candidate will be mechanically inclined, detail-oriented, and a strong team player who can work in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Must read work instructions and production specifications.
• Basic math skills and the ability to read a tape measure.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Strong attendance, communication, and teamwork.
• A detail-oriented and self-motivated approach.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor manufacturing equipment safely and efficiently.
• Follow work instructions and production specifications.
• Handle start-up, shutdown, and basic troubleshooting of machines.
• Load and manage production materials and materials handling.
• Perform quality inspections to ensure products meet standards.
• Use HMI controls and ERP system for production tracking and data entry.
• Meet production goals and efficiency standards.
• Follow Lockout/Tagout and safety procedures at all times.
• Keep work area organized using 5S methods.
• Communicate with production, quality, maintenance, engineering, and leadership teams.
• Contribute ideas and support continuous improvement projects.
• Take on other duties as assigned.
