Job summary

Watkins Distributing, LLC. is seeking a Tap Cleaner to service beer lines at bars, restaurants, and other venues across Idaho and Montana. You will maintain draught systems, perform cleaning, and ensure peak performance.

This role is physical and requires daily travel, lifting 20–50 lbs, and working in wet or dim spaces. Independence, reliability, and attention to detail are valued along with a safety-first mindset.

Qualifications

• Experience servicing and maintaining draught systems is preferred.

• Comfort with non-desk, physical field work and varied environments.

Job Summary:

Tap Cleaners visit bars, restaurants, and other beverage establishments to service and maintain draught lines, keeping systems clean and operating at peak performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Service and clean draught beer lines and equipment at designated customer accounts according to a set schedule
• Verify that all draught systems operate correctly and meet company quality standards
• Keep thorough daily service records using company-provided tracking tools
• Drive to multiple customer locations using a personal or company vehicleIdentify and resolve draught system issues, communicating solutions clearly to customers
• Train retail accounts on best practices for draught system upkeep and care
• Keep tools, equipment, and work areas clean and properly organized
• Adhere to all safety guidelines, including safe handling of cleaning agents and equipment
• Complete all duties accurately, efficiently, and on time in accordance with established service expectations
• Take on additional duties as needed

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift and transport equipment, product, and kegs ranging from approximately 20–50 pounds, and up to 165 pounds on a regular basis
• Comfortable with repeated bending, kneeling, reaching, and standing for extended periods throughout the workday
• Ability to travel between multiple accounts each day and safely operate a motor vehicle
• Ability to work across a variety of settings, including bars, restaurants, walk-in coolers, and tight or wet spaces
