Job summary

Kaizen Lab Inc. is seeking a diligent team member responsible for cleaning and maintaining draft lines across assigned accounts. The role includes assisting with installation of new draft lines and systems and performing minor preventative maintenance with reporting to a supervisor.

Responsibilities include scheduled cleaning, bi-weekly and quarterly tasks, fault inspection, and support for special events. A strong focus on safety, accuracy, and customer service is required.

Qualifications

  • Understanding of alcoholic beverage industry.
  • Ability to use computer programs related to the position.
  • Results oriented with excellent verbal communication; diplomacy and discretion.
  • Ability to work with all levels of the organization, to organize, prioritize, negotiate, manage, motivate others and solve problems.
  • Ability to multi-task, work independently and/or within a team, pay attention to detail and meet deadlines.

  • Strong customer service and interpersonal expertise.
  • Decision making, thoroughness and time management a must.
  • Knowledge of geographic areas; familiarity with assigned territory.
  • Possess a valid driver’s license and have an acceptable MVR.

Responsibilities

  • Receives weekly schedule of accounts and may handle urgent requests.
  • Perform draft equipment cleaning according to brewery standards on all assigned accounts.
  • Bi-weekly cleaning of all assigned accounts.
  • Quarterly acid wash.
  • Understand operation of draft equipment and make repairs and adjustments.
  • If performing minor maintenance, inform supervisor; inspect faucets and tavern heads during cleaning; flush lines and clean parts.
  • Provide high quality service efficiently to meet productivity expectations.
  • Work at special events and maintain/clean equipment at major venues.
  • Assist with installation of new draft lines and equipment.
  • Assist with cleaning/servicing of special event equipment at warehouse.
  • Clean used draft equipment and return to inventory.
  • Assist with product deliveries as needed.
  • Occasionally work overtime and perform other duties as assigned by Sales Manager.
  • Maintain inventory of draft maintenance supplies in your kit.
  • Maintain relationships with account owners, managers and staff.
  • Demonstrate sincere interest in each account’s success.
  • Avoid retailer contacts during busy periods when possible.
  • Maintain a positive attitude in discussions with accounts.
  • Comply with company policies and procedures.

Job description

This position is accountable for the cleaning and maintenance of all draft lines in his assigned accounts and assisting with the installation of new draft lines and systems. Also performs minor preventative maintenance on draft systems and reports serious maintenance issues to immediate supervisor.

Job Duties
  • Receives weekly schedule of accounts from immediate supervisor. May handle urgent requests as needed
  • Perform the draft equipment cleaning according to brewery standards on all assigned draft accounts on the scheduled day and in the established sequence
  • Bi-Weekly cleaning of all assigned accounts
  • Quarterly acid wash
  • Understand the operation of draft equipment and make repairs and adjustments
  • If performing minor or preventative maintenance on draft beer systems, ensures immediate supervisors are kept informed of these activities to include:
    • Faucets
    • Tavern heads, for all accounts at time of cleaning
    • On each scheduled cleaning flush all lines, disassemble and thoroughly clean all tavern heads and faucets
    • Inspects parts for wear or other defects
  • Provides high quality service in an efficient manner meeting productivity expectations
  • Works special events as needed or when required. Maintains and cleans all equipment at major venues
  • Assist with the installation of new draft lines and equipment
  • Assists with the cleaning and servicing of special event equipment at warehouse
  • Cleans used draft equipment in order to place it back into inventory
  • Assists with product deliveries as needed
  • Works overtime when required
  • Performs any additional duties and special tasks assigned by the Sales Manager
  • Maintain an adequate inventory of draft maintenance supplies in your kit
  • Maintain a working relationship with the owners, managers and employees of accounts
  • Demonstrate a sincere interest in the business success of each account
  • When possible, avoid retailer contacts during their busy times
  • Have a positive attitude about all of your fellow employees when in discussions with account
  • Conduct your activities according to company policies and procedures
