ITC Federal is seeking a dynamic and experienced Principal Project Manager / BRM Team Lead to oversee a high-impact initiative supporting the Department of Justice’s Tribal Access Program (TAP) under the Law Enforcement Services and Information Sharing (LESIS) division. In this role, you will lead a team of Business Relationship Managers (BRMs) who serve as the primary liaisons to Tribal Nations, helping to build trust, drive technology adoption, and ensure compliance with national criminal justice information systems.
This is a key leadership role responsible for strategic direction, project oversight, and performance management of TAP BRM operations. You will serve as both a people manager and senior client-facing stakeholder, ensuring the program delivers high-quality services that align with mission outcomes.
Provide strategic leadership and day-to-day management of the TAP BRM team (currently ~6 BRMs) supporting ~120+ Tribal Nations.
Set performance goals, oversee work planning, and ensure BRMs meet program objectives, including training, account management, audit support, and client satisfaction.
Manage program operations including deliverables tracking, milestone achievement, and stakeholder engagement for the TAP program.
Serve as the primary liaison with DOJ leadership and funding partners to communicate status updates, resolve escalations, and align on strategic initiatives.
Provide guidance on CJIS compliance, tribal policy documentation, and federal systems integration (e.g., JABS, CAS, NCIC, NGI).
Oversee the TAP BIA Special Project and ensure coordinated support across multiple tribal and federal stakeholders.
Manage resource planning, onboarding, and professional development for BRM staff.
Assist with documentation, project artifacts, program reporting, and status briefings to senior leadership.
Ensure continuous improvement through process standardization, risk mitigation, and cross-functional coordination with ITC and DOJ stakeholders.
Required Qualifications:
8+ years of experience managing federal programs, including service delivery, client engagement, and team supervision.
5+ years of experience working in or with criminal justice or law enforcement environments.
Demonstrated knowledge of DOJ CJIS systems, CJIS Security Policy, and tribal engagement protocols.
Experience with account management, training programs, and end-user support in a technical or regulated environment.
Strong project management skills including status reporting, milestone tracking, and risk management.
Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, SharePoint, and creating executive-level presentations and reports.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to manage relationships with senior government stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications:
Prior experience leading or mentoring a team of Business Relationship Managers or customer engagement specialists.
Familiarity with federal tribal relations or prior experience working with Tribal Nations.
In-depth knowledge of CJIS Security Policy.
PMP or similar project management certification.
