Air Methods seeks a Temporary Rotor Wing Pilot for TriState Careflight in Taos, NM. The role supports 12-hour shifts with 7 on/7 off, flying AS350 under VFR to transport medical crews and patients across designated areas.

Ideal candidates hold 2,000+ total hours with 1,500+ in category, 1,000+ PIC rotor wing, and required commercial & instrument ratings. Benefits include relocation assistance and comprehensive coverage.

Qualifications

• 2,000+ total flight hours with 1,500+ in category (rotor wing)
• 1,000+ hours PIC in rotor wing
• 500+ hours rotor wing turbine time
• 50+ hours unaided night time; NVG optional substitution up to 100 hours
• Commercial & Instrument rating required; ATP rating preferred or required by category

Responsibilities

• Operate Air Methods aircraft safely and legally
• Complete pre-flight checks; verify airworthiness
• Maintain required documentation and flight logs
• Conduct flight planning with attention to standards and safety
• Communicate effectively with EMS teams and hospitals
• Adhere to FAR, AIM and GOM guidelines
