Job summary

Biagi Bros. is seeking a professional CDL driver to operate tractor-trailer combinations, transport freight, and ensure safe delivery across routes. The role requires adherence to DOT hours, pre-trip inspections, and thorough documentation for shipments.

Responsibilities include loading/unloading, hook/unhook, fueling, and reporting incidents to dispatch. Candidates must have a valid CDL, endorsements, and the ability to work extended trips away from home.

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid Commercial Driver’s License.
• Doubles/Triples endorsement required.
• Hazmat endorsement preferred, not required.
• Experience with 48’–57’ dry vans or 42’ tanks for training positions.
• Ability to read and write English and do basic math.
• Able to drive manual transmissions (10/15 speed).
• Knowledge of ELD/OBRD and shipping paperwork.
• DOT and safety regulations knowledge.
• Willing to be away from home for extended trips.
• Must meet USDOT medical standards and pass drug tests.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate tractor-trailer combinations and transport freight.
• Hook/unhook trailers and position dollies as needed.
• Load and unload trailers and coordinate with dock workers.
• Ensure documentation is complete and accurate for shipments.
• Maintain compliance with DOT hours of service and safety regs.
• Report incidents and delays to dispatch.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Fuel, inspect, and maintain equipment.
