Job summary

Triumvirate Environmental is seeking a Class A CDL Tanker Driver for our Greater Austin, TX area to safely transport hazardous and non-hazardous materials to various locations in compliance with regulations. This on-site role in Taylor, TX reports to the Operations Director and requires inspections, digital logs, and load security.

You will work with dispatch and clients to ensure timely deliveries, assist with loading/unloading, and participate in ongoing safety training to maintain industry

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License.
• 1-3+ years tanker driving experience.
• Strong commitment to safety and environmental compliance.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate and drive commercial vehicles, including tankers, vacuum trucks, roll-offs, and box trucks, in compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations.
• Transport hazardous and non-hazardous waste materials to disposal or recycling facilities.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles, ensuring they are in safe operating condition.
• Maintain accurate digital logs of working hours, vehicle service, and repair status, following all applicable DOT regulations.
• Complete all required manifest paperwork and documentation accurately.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch, supervisors, and clients to ensure timely and accurate delivery of services.
• Assist with loading and unloading of materials as needed.
• Properly secure load to ensure safe & compliant transportation of materials.
• Participate in ongoing training and development programs to maintain industry knowledge and skills.
