Heidelberg Materials is seeking a Tanker Driver to safely operate tanker trucks and deliver materials to customer and company locations. You will perform pre-trip inspections, load/unload goods, and maintain delivery documentation while following safety procedures.

Applicants should have a valid CDL with endorsements, experience operating tanker equipment, and knowledge of DOT regulations. The role requires independent work and strong time-management skills in a dynamic environment.

What You'll Be Doing

• Safely operate tanker trucks to transport materials to customer and company locations.
• Conduct pre-trip, post-trip, and daily vehicle inspections to ensure safe operation.
• Load, unload, and deliver products efficiently while following all safety and environmental procedures.
• Maintain accurate delivery documentation and communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and team members.
• Adhere to DOT, FMCSA, company policies, and all applicable regulatory requirements.

What Are We Looking For

• Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with appropriate endorsements and a strong commitment to safe driving practices.
• Demonstrated ability to operate tanker equipment safely and efficiently in a variety of conditions.
• Strong understanding of DOT regulations, inspection procedures, and transportation safety requirements.

Conditions of Employment

• Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check.
• Some positions require FMCSA regulated ongoing drug and alcohol testing.

Work Environment

• Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level.
