Job summary

Heniff Transportation seeks a Tank Wash Technician to perform cleaning of hazardous and non-hazardous tanker trailers, on-site remediation, decontamination, and handling of hazardous materials. You will operate pumps, compressors, boilers, bobcats and forklifts, and use pressure washers with strict safety practices.

The role requires a high school diploma (or GED) and at least six months in the industry, with DOT/EPA knowledge preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent; six months or more of industry experience.
• Experience with DOT regulations, EPA waste codes, manifesting and LDR preferred.
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and safe handling procedures.

Responsibilities

• Ensure health and safety is the top priority by following policies and safe practices.
• Operate light and heavy equipment, including pumps, compressors, boilers and forklifts.
• Handle hand tools and power washers; maintain proper tool use and notify supervision of issues.
• Adhere to health, safety compliance and regulations; wear PPE as required.
• Assist in field sampling and calibration of meters as needed.
• Report to Tank Wash Manager and perform additional duties as assigned.
